The Disney College Program focuses on giving participants an experience designed to boost their professional skills and resume. Throughout the course of the six-month internship, courses and network sessions with higher-ups are offered. Within each intern's location they are able to work with their leaders to cross-train to have the opportunity to learn other skills within their role within the company. 

     I chose to participate in this program, as well as use it as my EDGE Project, because I felt that it would greatly impact my life in both the professional and every-day sense. The particular values that the Walt Disney Company instills within the company and their employees is something that is attractive to me, and I can see these skills impacting me within my career and life in the future.

     The innovation and leadership skills that Disney shows within their industry is inspiring, and I am excited to be able to learn from leaders in the company. Through this internship, I will have the opportunity to apply and hone leadership skills as well as learn guest service skills from a company that leads the industry within these skill sets.
